Restylane® and Perlane®: Long-lasting for
about six months
Fast and safe method with
immediate results
Restylane, Restylane Fine Lines, and Perlane are not of animal or
human origin, therefore a skin test is not needed and you can have
the treatment performed immediately. When treating wrinkles or folds,
Restylane, Restylane Fine Lines, or Perlane is injected into the
skin in tiny amounts with a very thin needle. The Restylane injections
give natural volume under the wrinkle, which is lifted up and smoothed
out. A Restylane treatment takes about 15 minutes and the results
can be seen immediately.
Post-treatment
After Restylane treatment you may experience some swelling, tenderness
and redness. This is a normal result of the injection and the above
symptoms generally disappear in two to four days. Restylane injections
are fast and safe and leaves no scars or other traces on the face.
Long-lasting results
Restylane, Restylane Fine Lines and Perlane are biodegradable which
means that they will gradually be absorbed. As the gel breaks down,
water takes its place, and when totally absorbed, the Restylane
gel disappears unnoticed from the body. How long a Restylane treatment
holds its effect is very individual. This depends on many factors,
such as your age, skin type, lifestyle, and muscle activity, as
well as on the injection technique. Clinical trials of Restylane
